Careers

Build security systems Toronto actually trusts.

We're a small, senior team doing integrated physical and cyber security for the GTA's commercial, institutional, and multi-residential sites. If you like your craft visible and your clients local, keep reading.

What we're building

How we work, in four lines.

Craft before polish

Sites that still work in year five beat demos that look great on day one. We optimize for the former.

Tell the client the truth

Including when the truth is 'keep your existing system, it's fine.' Trust compounds; churn is expensive.

Small team, real ownership

Every role touches the client directly. No hidden layer of managers between you and the work.

We invest in certifications

Axis, Genetec, Verkada, ESA, CCNA — if it makes you better at the job, we pay for it.

Open roles

4 positions open right now.

  • Field operations

    Senior security technician

Lead commercial installs end-to-end: pre-site walk, cabling plan, device programming, and handoff. You're the person the PM trusts to run a site without a second technician shadowing.

    Location
Toronto / GTA — field + shop in Scarborough
    Employment type
    Full-time
    Compensation
    $75,000 – $95,000 + van + tools
    Apply
    Show details

    What you'd do

    • Run multi-day commercial installs — cameras, access control, intercoms, alarms
    • Program VMS, access controllers, and readers (Axis, Avigilon, Verkada, Genetec, HID)
    • Terminate and test low-voltage runs to ANSI/TIA standards
    • Commission sites with the client — walk every camera view and door
    • Mentor apprentices and junior techs on the crew

    What we're looking for

    • 5+ years commercial security installation experience
    • Valid G licence and clean abstract
    • Comfortable on a lift; working-at-heights and WHMIS current
    • Clear written handoff notes — not just verbal

    Nice to have

    • Genetec, Axis, or Verkada certification
    • Low-voltage (ESA 309A) licence
    • Experience with PSISA-regulated sites
  • Engineering

    Network & security engineer

Design the network side of our deployments: segmentation, firmware governance, and the cyber hygiene that keeps cameras and door controllers from becoming someone's pivot point.

    Location
    Hybrid — Toronto office 2 days/week
    Employment type
    Full-time
    Compensation
    $90,000 – $120,000
    Apply
    Show details

    What you'd do

    • Design VLAN, firewall, and switch configurations for integrated physical security deployments
    • Own our firmware governance program — tracking, testing, rollouts
    • Respond to threat-intel advisories with a patch-or-replace recommendation
    • Review installer handoffs before sites go live
    • Write client-facing documentation that an IT team can actually verify against

    What we're looking for

    • 4+ years network engineering or security engineering
    • Comfortable with Cisco / Ubiquiti / Meraki and enterprise firewalls
    • Working knowledge of IP camera, VMS, and access-control protocols
    • Can explain risk to non-technical executives without losing either audience

    Nice to have

    • CompTIA Security+, CCNA, or equivalent
    • Prior experience in physical security integration
  • Client services

    Client success lead

Own the relationship after the install is done — quarterly reviews, expansion planning, renewals, and the early warning when something on a site needs attention.

    Location
    Toronto — hybrid
    Employment type
    Full-time
    Compensation
    $70,000 – $85,000 + bonus
    Apply

    What you'd do

    • Run quarterly business reviews for a book of 30–50 commercial clients
    • Surface expansion opportunities and coordinate scopes with engineering
    • Own renewal cycles and SLA reporting
    • Be the first call when something is off — and route it to the right person fast

    What we're looking for

    • 3+ years in B2B client success, account management, or post-sales engineering
    • Strong written communication — your emails get read, not skimmed
    • Comfortable reading a quote, a site drawing, and a simple network diagram
  • Apprenticeship

    Security installation apprentice

Start from zero or near-zero and become a real installer. You ride along with senior techs, run cable, learn to terminate and test, and progress to full installs on your own.

    Location
    Toronto / GTA — field
    Employment type
    Apprenticeship
    Compensation
    $22 – $28/hr + tool allowance
    Apply

    What you'd do

    • Shadow senior techs on live commercial jobs
    • Pull, dress, and terminate low-voltage cable
    • Learn camera, reader, and controller mounting and alignment
    • Keep the van and shop organized — this matters more than you'd think

    What we're looking for

    • Valid G licence
    • Willingness to learn, ask questions, and admit when something isn't right
    • Physically comfortable with ladder / lift / attic / crawlspace work

    Nice to have

    • Any trade school exposure (electrical, networking, low-voltage)

Benefits

  • RRSP matching up to 4% after 12 months
  • Paid certifications (Axis, Genetec, Verkada, Avigilon, ESA, CCNA)
  • Tool allowance for field roles; company van for leads
  • 3 weeks PTO, stat holidays, and 5 paid sick days
  • Monthly WFH stipend for hybrid roles
  • Referral bonus when you bring in great people
