Privacy policy

How we collect, use, and safeguard your personal information.

Effective date: April 17, 2026. This policy is written to reflect our obligations under Canada's PIPEDA and Québec's Law 25 (Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector).

1. Who we are

Lunarlink Solutions Inc. (“Lunarlink,” “we,” “us”) is a Canadian security integrator headquartered in Toronto, ON, Canada. We operate this website and deliver installation and support services across Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area. Our privacy officer can be reached at info@lunarlinksolutions.com.

2. Scope of this policy

This policy covers personal information collected through this website, our contact and assessment request forms, phone and email correspondence, and on-site interactions with our team. It does not cover footage captured by security systems we install for our clients — that footage is controlled by the client, and their own privacy policy governs it.

3. What we collect

  • Contact informationyou submit via our forms: name, business name, email, phone, and details about the project you're inquiring about.
  • Technical information logged automatically when you visit: IP address, browser type, referring page, and pages viewed. We use aggregated analytics (Google Analytics 4) to understand traffic patterns. IP anonymization is enabled.
  • Correspondence — emails, call notes, and site survey notes — kept for the duration of the client relationship plus our record retention requirements.

We do not collect payment card information on this site. We do not sell personal information.

4. Why we collect it

We use personal information only for the purposes you'd expect: to respond to your inquiry, provide a quote or assessment, deliver and support the services you hire us for, and comply with our legal and regulatory obligations. We rely on your consent and on the legitimate business interest of operating a professional services firm.

5. Who we share it with

We share personal information only with service providers that help us operate the business — currently:

  • Resend (transactional email delivery — United States)
  • Cloudflare (edge delivery — United States / global)
  • Google (Analytics 4 — United States)
  • Our hosting provider for this website

Because some of these providers are located outside Canada, personal information may be processed in other jurisdictions and subject to the laws of those jurisdictions. We enter into contractual commitments requiring reasonable safeguards consistent with Canadian requirements, and we only share the minimum information necessary for each provider to do their job.

6. How long we keep it

Inquiry information where no project results is kept for up to 24 months and then deleted. Client records are kept for the duration of the engagement plus seven years to meet tax, warranty, and professional-records requirements. Server logs are rotated within 30 days.

7. Your rights

Under PIPEDA and Law 25, you have the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you, to request correction of inaccurate information, to withdraw consent (subject to legal or contractual restrictions), and — if you are a Québec resident — to request that we cease disseminating your information, de-index search results, or provide your information in a structured, commonly used technological format (data portability).

To exercise any of these rights, contact our privacy officer at info@lunarlinksolutions.com. We respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may file a complaint with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or, in Québec, the Commission d'accès à l'information.

8. Cookies and tracking

We use a small number of first-party cookies to remember theme preference and site state, and third-party cookies for Google Analytics 4 with IP anonymization and advertising features disabled. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Doing so will not break core functionality of this site.

9. Security

We apply reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information, including access controls, encryption in transit, and least-privilege handling of client records. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure. If we become aware of a breach that is likely to create a real risk of significant harm, we will notify affected individuals and the Privacy Commissioner as required by law.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our practices or legal obligations change. Material changes will be dated at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
