Readers are the part of an access system your team touches every day, so they need to be fast, reliable, and obvious to use. We specify by grade: mobile-ready multi-tech readers for general use, biometric readers for high-security zones, and ruggedized outdoor readers for gates and loading docks.
Most new installs default to mobile-capable readers even if you're not ready to issue mobile credentials on day one. It keeps the upgrade path open without changing hardware later.
When to use
